· Paradox Interactive
Adventure, Role-playing (RPG)
Release Date: October 21, 2025
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is the successor to the iconic RPG Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Set in a Seattle faithfully reimagined in the World of Darkness, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 features reactive storytelling, fast-paced melee combat, and intriguing characters with their own hidden motives.
Created in an act of vampire insurrection, your existence ignites a blood war among the vampire factions who run Seattle. To survive, you’ll choose a clan and enter into uneasy alliances with competing factions in a world which will react to every choice you make. Unleash your supernatural powers against your prey, but be mindful of your surroundings at all times or run the risk of breaking the Masquerade (the absolute law of secrecy that keeps Vampire society hidden from humanity).

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is a long-awaited sequel to 2004's Vampire: The Masquerade, a cult classic based on the tabletop game.

The Chinese Room has managed to make something from a box of inherited parts, but this action RPG feels hollow and functional. Sadly, it hasn't worked.

While I loved the story and had fun playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, it often played like a game from another time.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the definition of a crying shame. Clumsy writing and flat, repetitive world design expose a handful of good ideas that never take root.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 doesn't live up to the modern standards set by other open-world role-playing games, but once you get past that, it's an acceptable vampire experience.
